    Camden

Grand Union Walk is an iconic residential building in London’s famous Camden Town, designed by the award-winning Grimshaw Architects. The building’s external cladding and window frames needed a major revival.

Using rope access teams and specialist cladding cleaning methods, our teams were able to bring the building back to its former glory.

    Leeds

The completion of the new Leeds Police Headquarters on Elland Road came with a concern that the new white walls of the building may attract unwanted graffiti. Reeda were engaged to apply a full low level sacrificial anti-graffiti coating across the newly built development. Drying clear on application, any unwanted marks are simply rinsed off with light steam.

    Faversham

As part of a major refurbishment project at the Shepherd Neame Brewery in Faversham, Reeda were commissioned to carry out internal cleaning and coating to the fibre glass tanks which hold the brewed beer.

The Victorian built brewery provided some very tricky access challenges, with the damp cold environment meaning that a specialist coating was required for the tanks.

Using rope access methods the team were able to scale the suspended 9m tanks, cleaning, prepping and coating with a marine grade paint suited for the wet and damp environment.

    Bedford

As part of a larger restoration project, Reeda were called in to provide a specialist poultice clean on the decorative stone entrance to this boarding house in the centre of Bedford. Over time carbon deposits had built up on the stone causing the beautiful carvings to get lost under the blackened deposits.  Following an initial trial we were able to demonstrate the results that could be achieved using the poultice cleaning approach. The final project delivered an incredible transformation to reveal a very beautiful carved stone entrance.

    Studham

Reeda were commissioned to complete a full external restoration of St Mary the Virgin Church in Studham. As a result of previous treatments to the belfry stone surrounds, coatings were removed and the stone repaired using lime cement. Cracks to the lime mortar were repaired and a full clean of the render was carried out.

Scaffolding was erected around the belfry tower to allow detailed repair works to be conducted on the stone and render elements, with works off MEWP being used for the reminder of the building. On completion of the repair works, a lime render wash was applied to the stone work to uniform the detailing across the church and hide repairs.
